St. Augustine's , our " little Church on the hill".was built in 1925. Prior to that date the Anglicans in the area held home services.
Palmwoods is nestled at the foothills of the Blackall Ranges, and is 100 kms north of Queensland's capital city of Brisbane.
It has a village atmosphere and is close to shopping centres of Nambour and Maroochydore The drive to Montville at the top of the Range only takes around 15mts and once there the view is amazing as one can see the beautiful Sunshine Coast area which stretches to the ocean.
St.Augustine's is "family and children friendly" We have many young families attending worship and our congregation is of varying age groups.
Our Parish Council and congregation members are commited to the continuing maintenance of the Church and grounds and many projects have come to fruition over the years
